9&10 News - Online Content Manager

Heritage Broadcasting, owners of 9&10 News and operators of Fox 32, is currently looking to hire an Online Content Manager. The Online Content Manager will be responsible for developing the voice for all aspects of the organizations online presence. This hands-on, working manager will be responsible for ensuring that all content, look and feel, customer experience, branding, messaging, site features, information architecture, and functionality of all Web assets is consistent with the image of 9&10 News and Fox 32 and is aligned with key business requirements. This individual will work closely with both business leaders and technical teams across all functions of the business, including IT, Marketing, Support, Product Development, Product Management, and Sales. In addition to writing, editing, and proofreading site content, this person will work closely with the IT department and business leaders to ensure that the needs of the organization are met, strengthen the brand, and deliver a user experience that drives a high level of visitor engagement.

Qualifications:

This position requires a bachelor's degree in a related area and at least 5 years experience in the field. The Online Content Manager must have a strong technical background in addition to the creativity required to develop responsive, interesting original content. Traditional writing skills and expertise in New Media is required. Additionally the qualified candidate should have exceptional communication and organizational skill, Passion, Integrity, and Energy!
