New Hotel on Mackinac Island Expects to Open Soon

Posted: Updated:

A brand new hotel expects to open soon on Mackinac Island.

The three story, 36 room Bicycle Street Inn and Suites is set to open in May in downtown's historical district.

It was build in place of the 120 year old McNally Cottage Bed and Breakfast.

The new hotel has been a long time in the making.

In 2010, the Mackinac Island City Council blocked demolition, but the order expired in fall of 2011, allowing the developer to move forward.
