President Obama spoke about his meeting with congressional leaders on the fiscal cliff.
President Obama met Friday with House Speaker John Boehner, Senate Republican leader Mitch McConnell, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and House Democratic leader Nancy Pelosi.
President Obama said he felt like they had a good and constructive meeting today where they believe they have met the December 30th deadline on coming up with a plan.
They have not voted on an agreement but will lay some ground work out and he said the fiscal cliff can still be reached.
The fiscal cliff is a combination of automatic tax hikes and deep spending cuts due to take effect at the start of the new year.
