Plenty of snow is making it a very merry holiday week on the slopes.
While some spent their Christmas indoors, many made their way to Crystal Mountain in Benzie County.
The ski resort was able to open 80 percent of their runs this week for the heavy holiday traffic, which they say is a huge improvement from last year.
They say the amount of activities they have to offer has drawn many to spend an entire week at the resort.
Crystal Mountain says the current weather conditions are ideal for skiing and snowboarding, and they hope to have all of their runs open by the end of this week.
