The Barn Door Offers Free Dinner to Remember Caleb Rich

An Isabella County restaurant brings the community together to remember one special boy.

The Barn Door offered a free dinner in honor of Caleb Rich who passed away from an asthma attack about a year ago.

They fed almost 200 people and although the food was free, donations were given.

About $250 was raised and will end up going to Hopewell Ranch as well as Weidman Elementary in the Chippewa Hills School District.

The Christmas Eve dinner is a new family tradition this year.

The Barn Door served hot roast pork, mashed potatoes, stuffing, mac and cheese and dinner rolls.
