NEW DETAILS: 2 People Died in Crawford County House Fire

Northern Michigan's News Leader is on the scene of a deadly house fire in Grayling.

Fire officials tell 9&10 News that 38-year-old Senta Duncan and 5-year-old Wyatt Duncan were killed in the fire.

A neighbor tells us 4 of the 5 children living in the home ran to their neighbor's for help around 6:00.

They say 2 of the girls were sleeping in the  basement when they were awoken by the thick smoke, the fire appeared to have started in the living room area.

The kids were taken to Grayling Mercy Hospital for smoke inhalation but were soon released.

The Michigan State Fire Marshall is on the scene investigating.
