Local Democratic Parties and Unions Heading to Lansing to Join Right-to-Work Protest

Posted: Updated:

Governor Snyder has said he'll sign the legislation.

The call went out across the state to show up and protest the right-to-work legislation, and it's being answered by some in Northern Michigan.

The democratic party and local unions are loading busses to go to Lansing to join the protest.

They have 3 busses heading south, one from Petoskey and 2 departing from Traverse City.

It's free to ride down with the group.

If you want to join in Traverse City, one bus is leaving from north end of the Meijer parking lot at 5:30 am.

The second one is leaving at 6:00 am from the Electrical Workers Union Hall on Blair Townhall Road.
