Sheriff's Department Sells Christmas Trees for Kids

Posted: Updated:

One local Sheriff's Department set up shop in a parking lot to make sure that local families have a merry Christmas.

The Crawford County Sheriff's Department Christmas tree sale for their Cops for Kids program is on.

The trees are for sale at the K-Mart in Grayling in Crawford County.

All the money that is made from the sales of the trees goes towards the program that helps 20 to 25 local kids shop at K-Mart for Christmas gifts.

The gifts they buy can be for themselves or their families, and then are treated to a lunch with deputies from the Sheriff's Department.

The trees were picked up right after Thanksgiving, and they will be selling them until the last tree is sold.
