Charges Dropped Against Man Accused of Assaulting Woman

Charges have been dropped against a man police believed to have attacked a woman on the TART trails in September.
Police say they had a search warrant for the phone records of David Walter, and found that his phone was being used at the time of the assault, coming off of a tower in Kingsley.
The attack happened on the TART trail near South Airport Road, when a woman said a man came up behind her while she was walking her dog, and tried to pull her into a wooded area.
Police say they will continue this investigation, and hope to find some answers.
