Ford will be updating software on 2013 Escape SUVs and Fusion cars to fix a coolant problem that could cause a fire.
Last month Ford recalled more than 89,000 vehicles after complaints about overheating and fires.
Owners had to get loaner cars until Ford found a fix to the problem.
Ford says only vehicles with 1.6 liter turbocharged engines are affected.
Ford Product Development Chief, Raj Nair, says the problem happens when a coolant doesn't flow through the radiator to be cooled.
Overheated coolant can blow gaskets.
They say 9 fires have been reported because of the coolant problem.
Nair says the software change will fix the problem.
