The Great Northwest Bowling Conference bowled at Striketown Lanes in Manistee on Saturday.

In the boy's division, Traverse City West Green stayed unbeaten on the year by turning back TC Central Black 22.5 to 7.5.  After edging Central in the baker portion 333 to 320 and securing a ten point lead, Central won seven of the next nine points to make it seven to twelve.  West then countered by winning ten and a half of the remaining eleven points.  Titan, Chris Grigsby led both teams with a 178 game.

West Green also beat Kingsley (29 to 1).  Ben Mohrhardt rolled a 179 game to lead the Titans in that match.

TC Central started off with a win (before the West loss) by beating their Gold Team 30-0. Trojan Brad Wozniak had a 305 series in that win.

West's Gold team went 1 and 1 on the day, with a win over Glen Lake and a loss to TC Christian Maroon. Titan Jordan Newstead had a 351 series in the win while Ken Savoie had a 184 game in the loss. Saber Jared Argyle rolled a 195 game in the loss to West Gold.

In TC Christian's other match they beat St. Francis 22.5 to 7.5.  Brett Bultsma bowled a 412 series in the win over the Gladiators. Leah Schmerhiem had a 196 game in the loss.

In the Gladiator's other match they tied TC West White coming back from being down by ten in the Bakers Games. Gladiator Bailey Johnson led both teams with a 181 game.

Bellaire swept their matches by beating Elk Rapids Orange 20 to 10 and TC Christian Gold 23 to 7. Bellaire's Jared Moody led them in the win over the Elks with a 357 series. Caleb Gothrup bowled a 219 game in the win over TC Christian Gold.

Elk Rapids finished with a win and a loss as they beat Benzie 25 to 5. Austin Wolfgram rolled a 223 game for the Elks in the win.

Kingsley garnered a win over Benzie 26 to 4 and Glen Lake fell to TC Christian Gold team 17 to 13.

In the girls conference TC Central got wins over Glen Lake (18.5 to 11.5) and Benzie (28 to 2).  Hope Eschleman led the Trojans on the day with a 154 game.  Erika Bailey had a 147 for the Lakers in their loss.

TC West Green gave up a half point over two matches be beating Benzie (29.5 to .5) and Bellaire (30 to 0).  Corrine Schrotenboer led TC West on the day with a 317 series.

Bellaire beat St Francis 30 to 0 as Kristen Schlegel rolled a 348 series for the Eagles.

Glen Lake and TC West Gold ended in a 15 to 15 tie in their match.

Teams return to action in Traverse City at Lucky Jacks on Saturday December 15th.
