Man accused of sexually assaulting a woman at a party has been arrested.
The Grand Traverse Sheriff's Office arrested a 21-year-old Williamsburg man who is accused of sexually assaulting a 20-year-old Traverse City woman.
The incident happened at a party on November 22nd in Whitewater Township.
Tyler Shananaquet offered a ride home to the victim and when they were leaving the party Shananaquet physically assaulted the woman in the parking area.
Police say the victim was injured during the attack.
A vehicle believed to be involved in the incident has been impounded and being processed for evidence.
