Missing Detroit Man With Dementia Dies in Car Accident in Montcalm County

A missing Detroit man with dementia died in a car accident in Montcalm County.

Police say 74-year-old James Odell Clemons went missing on Monday and died following a crash on M-46 near Howard City early Tuesday morning.

Police say Clemons drove over two sets of rumble strips and through a stop sign and crashed.

Family of Clemons had contacted Detroit Police on Monday and told them he suffered from dementia and had disappeared.
