People in the Cadillac area now have a new place to find some sweets just before the holidays.
The Sweetest Things cupcake bakery and deli just opened its doors on Saturday.
Two sisters decided to follow their dream and open the shop on Boon Road in Haring Township across the street from Pizza Hut.
The owners say business is going well so far and they are already seeing repeat customers. They weren't sure what the demand would be for cupcakes in the area so they decided to combine the idea with an Italian deli.
Some of the store's signature cupcake flavors are oreo, peanut butter cup, and strawberry milkshake.
