Benzie County Sheriff's Office is investigating a deadly rollover accident which followed a hit and run accident.
Police say 55-year-old Petoskey man, Michael Esford, was reportedly driving erratic and was involved in a hit and run accident in Grand Traverse County.
The police department received several calls that Esford hit mailboxes in the Lake Ann area.
He then rolled his car on Lake Ann Road around 3:00 this afternoon and was ejected from the car and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police believe alcohol and speed were factors in the crash.
