UPDATE: Funeral Arrangements Made for Snowboarding Victim

An update tonight on a 17-year-old girl who died after an Emmet County snowboarding accident.

Funeral arrangements have been made for Kasandra Knapp, who died Sunday after the accident at Boyne Highlands in Harbor Springs.

Knapp was a high school senior at Inland Lakes.

According to the resort, Knapp fell Sunday afternoon on Camelot, a beginner rated slope.

She later died at the hospital.

A funeral service will be held Friday at 2:00 at the Petoskey United Methodist Church.

Friends are invited to visit with family at the church from noon, until the service starts.
