Deadly Snowboarding Accident at Boyne Highlands

A 17-year-old girl died after getting into a snowboarding accident at Boyne Highlands.

We're told the accident happened yesterday afternoon at the resort in Harbor Springs.

The girl, from Alanson, was going down Camelot, a beginner rated slope.

A witness says she fell within the slope boundaries and did not collide with any type of obstacle.

It's not clear if she was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.
