House of Doggs Seeks Donations to Continue Serving the Homeless

Posted: Updated:

A popular Traverse City restaurant is helping the homeless, but they're running low on money.

The owner of the House of Doggs says about two years ago, homeless people began taking shelter inside their shop to stay warm, so they started offering them a meal. It led to them having to collect money to continue to serve them. Now, their homeless fund is almost empty; it's down to just about $4.00. The owner says one meal costs them about $2.50.

You can donate to the House of Doggs Homeless Fund by just stopping by the shop, or, you can have 10% of your food order donated to the fund.
