Michigan Senate Approves Gray Wolf Hunting Bill

The Michigan Senate approves a bill that would allow hunters to kill gray wolf.

The bill was approved today on a 23-15 vote and now goes into the hands of the House.

Wolves have been classified as endangered species in Michigan.

The bill allows the Natural Resources Commission authority to decide whether to establish a wolf hunting season or not.

Michigan has about 700 wolves.
