Several Michigan Counties Investigate Man Accused of Sex Crimes

Several Michigan county detectives investigate Pontiac man accused of sex crimes.

William Kilburn, 19-year-old from Pontiac, was found soliciting a 16-year-old Ionia County girl and conspiring to have sex with an 8-year-old relative of the first victim.

Several counties, including Montcalm County, received several complaints involving the same type of incident which led to further investigations.

Kilburn was arrested in Oakland County on November 21st and was arranged on Monday for conspiracy to commit CSC 1st degree, distribution of child sexually abusive materials, solicitation or promotion of child sexually abusive materials, and using a computer to commit a crime.

He is currently being held at the Ionia County Jail on a $100,000 bond.

    The National Guard at Camp Grayling reports that a 155-millimeter Howitzer cannon was accidentally released from a Chinook helicopter and fell about 700 feet to the ground. Nobody was hurt in the accident.
