Powerball Jackpot Reaches A Half Billion Dollars

Posted: Updated:

The Powerball Jackpot has reached a half billion dollars and convenience stores across Northern Michigan are being flooded with potential winners.

The Jackpot keeps on growing and could be one of the highest in the history of the game.

The Marathon Gas Station on Mitchell Street, South of Downtown Cadillac, saw plenty of customers today hoping for a winning ticket.

The store sees a lot of excitement about the lottery, when the amount you can win reaches record levels.

One woman we spoke with says she plays Powerball every week and is optimistic about her chances to win.

Tickets will be available until tomorrow night's drawing.

Unlike Mega Millions, however, they cost two dollars per pick.
