Businesses and Local Governments React To Proposal On Personal Property Tax

Businesses and local government are reacting to a new proposal to get rid of the State's Personal Property Tax.

Currently, businesses pay the tax each year on items they own, like computers and manufacturing equipment.

Today, Lieutenant Governor Brian Calley and State Legislators proposed a new way to eliminate the tax.
