Osceola County Teacher Charged For Sex With Student

Janet Brown is a teacher at The Ashmun School at Eagle Village in Osceola County.
 
In court today, Brown was charged with having sex with a 16-year old student three times in one week.

Eagle Village is a facility for troubled youth in Hersey.

Brown had only taught at The Ashmun School for just less than a year.
 
Before that she was a Junior High teacher with Cadillac Public Schools.
 
The Mecosta-Osceola ISD runs The Ashmun School and said Brown was run through every background check any other teacher would and passed.

9&10's Eric Lloyd  and photojournalist Jacob Johnson were in court today for the arraignment and has returned with more details.
