Funeral and Benefit Dinner Planned for Stabbing Victim

A funeral and benefit dinner has been planned for a man who was stabbed to death.

The stabbing took place in downtown Mount Pleasant near a number of businesses and restaurants.

Tyrone Stanley was killed early Saturday morning and now residents are coming to terms with what happened in their community.

Visitation hours are from 2-4 and 6-8 on Thursday at the Maier Family Funeral home in Weidman. Stanley's funeral will be Friday at 11:00 in the morning at the Maier Funeral Home.

A spaghetti dinner, pig roast and auction will be held on December 8th at the Eagles in Weidman.
