Nordic Walking Poles or Ski Walking Poles are making a statement in Northern Michigan and across the country.
Pete Edwards has spearheaded the effort with his business SkiWalking located in Empire in Leelanau County.
He makes custom, one-piece poles for all shapes and sizes.
While Nordic Walking is meant for exercise, Pete is also making strides with people suffering from crippling medical conditions and even wounded soldiers.
