Traverse City Residents Assist Police in Catching Two Car Thieves

Traverse City police arrested two men after they say the pair broke into a car.
Police tell 9&10 News that two people were walking in the alley near their home on Second Street yesterday, when they spotted the thieves inside one of their cars.
We're told they confronted one of the men, but he took off.
They were able to catch the other man and keep him until police arrived.
A backpack stolen from the car has been recovered and the men are being held in the Grand Traverse County Jail.
