Shoppers took to the web today to find deals during Cyber Monday.
It wasn't just big name web sites where they were finding discounts.
Small businesses across Northern Michigan participated in the online holiday.
Haystacks in Traverse City and Cherry Republic in Glen Arbor were just two businesses that are seeing national sales because of the Cyber Monday deals they have offered on their web sites.
Cherry Republic saw thousands of orders today, and credits the increase to the ease of online shopping on smart phones.
It is predicted that shoppers will spend over $1 billion during Cyber Monday this year.
