Detroit authorities are investigating the deaths of three people in two overnight house fires

An elderly couple died in a fire at their home on the City's West Side.

The Detroit Free Press says the fire started about 4:30 A.M. Sunday morning, and doesn't appear suspicious.

The couples daughter reportedly escaped the fire, which started in an enclosed porch.

And--a man was killed in a fire about 1 A.M. at another West Side Home.

Family members say the house lacked electricity and the 43-year-old man was using a generator for heat.
