Ithaca and Beal City football headed to the State Finals

Ithaca and Beal City are headed to the football State Finals Thanksgiving Weekend at Ford Field in Detroit.

Beal City is making its fourth appearance in the last 13 years thanks to a 25-7 victory over St. Ignace Saturday at Thirlby Field in Traverse City.  The Aggies will meet Harbor Beach in the Division 8 State Final Friday morning at 10.

Ithaca is looking for its 42nd straight victory and third consecutive Division 6 State Title after a 31-14 win over Shelby in Big Rapids Saturday.  Ithaca heads to Ford Field to face Constantine Friday afternoon at 4:30.  It's a rematch of last year's Division 6 State Final which Ithaca won 42-14.

As always, 9&10 News and FOX 32 News will have highlights and reaction from the Aggies and YellowJackets State Finals Friday evening.
