DEVELOPING NEWS: Police Investigating Double Homicide in Newaygo County

Detectives from both the Newaygo County Sheriff's Office and Michigan State Police are investigating a double homicide in Brohman.

Police responded to a home on Division Street near M-37 in Brohman yesterday around 4:30 in the afternoon.

A woman called Police saying she found 56-year-old Joseph Cherneski and his live in girlfriend, 55-year-old Patricia Van Dyke dead.

Police believe they died from gunshot wounds.

During the investigation they didn't find any forced entry into the home.

They are investigating this case as a double homicide.
