The Food and Drug Administration is investigating 13 deaths that may be related to 5-Hour Energy shots.
The agency says it received 92 reports regarding the energy shots, including 33 hospitalizations and 13 deaths.
FDA officials say they will take action if they find a correlation between the incidents and the energy drinks. They could ask the company to take the drinks off the market.
FDA wants to warn customers that the products are not alternatives to sleep and you should consult a doctor before consuming the energy drinks.
