Bennett Pleads Not Guilty in Boy's Death

The man charged with first-degree murder in the death of a 4-year-old Isabella County boy sat silent while being arraigned in federal court.

The judge entered a not guilty plea on behalf of Anthony Bennet.

Bennett has been in custody since Carnel Chamberlain's remains were found June 28 at a home on the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Reservation.

Bennett was living with Carnel and his mother at the time.

He's due back in court Nov. 27
