Transformer Blows on Mackinac Bridge Causing Lights Out on North Side

A transformer blew on the Mackinac Bridge earlier today, knocking out the lights on the North side of the bridge.

Car traffic is still moving across the bridge, but 9&10 News does not know how the lights affect shipping and air traffic, at this time.

Bridge authorities say they are unsure how long it will take to replace power.
