Lake Superior State hockey beats Ferris 4-1

SAULT STE MARIE - Lake Superior State crammed three goals into the final minute of the second period and beat Ferris State 4-1.

The 18th ranked Bulldogs scored first with a goal from Justin DeMartino 15:07 into the second period.

However Kellan Lain tied it up at one.  Then Buddy Robinson notched a pair of goals in :44 to put the Lakers up 3-1.

Nick McParland added an empty-netter late in the third period to wrap up the scoring for Lake Superior State.

Lakers and Bulldogs meet up again at Taffy Abel Ice Arena in Sault Ste Marie Saturday night at 7:05pm.
