Watch Progress on Traverse City Bayfront Project

Posted: Updated:

You can now watch the progress of the Traverse City Bayfront Project LIVE at home.

The Traverse City Area Chamber of Commerce set up a webcam link on their website where you can watch the progress on the $3 million Bayfront Plan project.

The webcam looks down from the 3rd floor of the chamber's office which is across from the construction site along Grandview Parkway.

City Planning Director Russ Soyring said the project will continue as long as weather permits and resume in the spring.

They predict the completion will be mid-June 2013.

Improvements to the area include a splash pad play area, canoe/kayak launch, seating section, beach access, bathrooms and a concession area with a covered pavilion.

Watch the LIVE improvements at the chamber's website which is posted to the left of the story.
