National Writer Series Welcomes Local Author to Traverse City Opera House

Posted: Updated:

It was a special night for the National Writers Series, welcoming a local author to the Opera House stage.

Benjamin Busch appeared at two separate events for the writers series.

He spoke with students this afternoon, to give them a chance to talk to him about their aspirations in writing.

Tonight, he was at the Traverse City Opera House with Doug Stanton, to give a memorable performance and promote his book, Dust to Dust.

He says that the National Writers Series is something he's happy to be a part of.

"The great gift the National Writers Series brings is that it allows everyone in the Traverse City area to come in and have an actual conversation with world renowned writers and that's something, which is beyond compare...It's great to be a part of that."

Busch's appearance concluded his fifty state book tour.
