Posted: Updated:

The last man to see Carnel Chamberlain alive and the one accused of beating the four year old is now charged with his death.

Carnel's body was found buried and badly burned near his home on the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Reservation.

Anthony Bennett has been in jail since late June for assaulting the boy in the weeks leading up to his death.

Yesterday, he was indicted on federal murder charges.

For Carnel's family this has been the news they have been waiting for, but say it's not something to get caught up in.

9&10's Eric Lloyd and photojournalist Tony Zyber spoke with Carnel's family and have more details.
