State Grant Expected to Enhance the Upper Peninsula's Local Food System

The Upper Peninsula's got some projects in the works to get more local food into stores and restaurants.

A grant from the Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development is helping to move food production forward in the U.P.

The Eastern Upper Peninsula Local Food Summit, today, in Sault Ste. Marie explained how they plan to do it.

    Two people out for a walk found the body of a Macomb County middle school student near the trail. Armada police say the couple found April Millsap's body Thursday night.
