Heavy Lifters in Need

Posted: Updated:

As donations ramp up this time of year so does the need for volunteers at non-profits like the Father Fred Foundation.

As food and furniture donations pour in Father Fred is looking for a certain type of volunteer; they are in need of people who can do the heavy lifting.

More specifically someone who can safely lift 50 to 75 pound comfortably.

Right now Father Fred is only down to a handful of people who can get the heavy donations to those who need it most.

9&10's Jessica Dupnack and photojournalist Corey Adkins have more on Father Fred's call for those who can haul.
