CONTINUING COVERAGE: Police Still Searching for Missing Suspect

Posted: Updated:

Still no sign of a man in Grand Traverse County who deputies say took off during a traffic stop.

Deputies tell us he drove into the Wood Creek subdivision near Three Mile and South Airport Roads yesterday evening, then got out of his truck and fled.

Police surrounded and searched a home they thought he may have ran into, but they weren't able to find him.

The man is not considered dangerous, and no one was injured.

He is described as a white 20-year-old with reddish-blonde hair, wearing a blue or black Carhart t-shirt and blue jeans. He was driving a blue or silver pick up truck.

We will continue to bring you the latest updates as they become available.
