President Obama Re-elected for 2nd Term

CBS News projects that President Barack Obama won the 2012 presidential election.

President Obama won the critical swing state of Ohio, putting him over the 270 electoral votes needed.

President Obama thanked supporters on Twitter, "We're all in this together. That's how we campaigned."

The Chicago convention center where Obama supporters came together is cheering with joy.

The Romney camp in Boston became mute as results started to show that Obama was going to win.
