Voters See Benefits of Small Precinct Voting

Posted: Updated:

Many voters may still be waiting in long lines for their opportunity at the polls.

Smaller precincts like Oliver Township in Kalkaska County provide voters with an election experience unlike most.

In an old school house with only three polling booths, those who vote at the Oliver Township precinct have a very different voting experience.

The precinct is so small that poll workers know almost every voter that comes in.

Though Oliver Township is the smallest precinct in Kalkaska County, they were proud that they have the largest percentage of voters out of the rest of the precincts in the county.
