Police Make Several Arrests During Western Weekend at CMU

When the Western Michigan University football team comes to Mt. Pleasant, it always brings lots of fans to town...and a lot of police, to make sure things don't get out of hand.
Mt. Pleasant police reports they had a busy day and night.
29 people were lodged in the Isabella County Jail; 3 were drunk drivers.
One was charged with assaulting an officer.
16 were from a house part that police had to be called to 3 times before they ended up making arrests.
And, 36 citations were handed out for offenses like minors in possession and public intoxication.
