Neighbors Speak Out About John White's Warning Signs

Posted: Updated:

John Douglas White's next door neighbors are speaking out about the warning signs they saw for the weeks leading up to Rebekah Gay's murder, and what they want to do to prevent this from happening again.

24 year-old Rebekah Gay was killed Wednesday after being beaten with a rubber mallet and strangled to death.

The brutal crime stunned many in Mount Pleasant and now one couple is coming forward about the next door neighbor that they say fooled everyone around him.

Kelvin Patterson and Michelle Earl are hoping to create a law in honor of Rebekah that would be similar to the sex offender registry but with murderers.
