A handful of Northern Michigan teams and individuals placed in the top 5 during Saturday's Lower Peninsula Cross Country State Finals.
In Division 4 Girls, Bear Lake placed second as a team with Harbor Springs 3rd and Beal City 4th. TC St. Francis had Holly Bullough place 2nd individually. Beal City's Hannah Steffke takes 5th place.
Division 4 Boys, Evart Wildcats take runner-up status behind Concord, with Evart's top runner David Zinger taking 2nd individually.
Division 3 Boys, Benzie Central takes 4th place as team, while Mason County Central's Chase Barnett is 3rd individually.
Benzie Central Girls placed 4th as a team in Division 3, with Manistee's Annie Fuller runner up as an individual.
