Gary "Lee" Gramza was the drama teacher at Manistee High School.

Police say he was the only person inside a car that crashed into a tree yesterday morning in Mason County on Brye road north of Johnson road.

Police say Gramza didn't stop at the end of the road, and crashed into a tree.

Students and fellow teachers say that Gramza had infectious school spirit and was someone who was really there for students.

Manistee High School took time today to pay respects to the teacher they'll never forget.

Gary "Lee" Gramza was 41.
