UPDATE: Michigan Now Reporting 43 Cases Of Fungal Meningitis

In this update:  Michigan is now reporting 43 cases of Fungal Meningitis.

The national outbreak of the rare meningitis has been caused by a tainted steroid that was made in Massachusetts and shipped all over the country.

There are 212 reported cases in the U.S.

The death toll in Michigan remains at 4, while 15 people have been killed in the country.

There is one suspected case in Grand Traverse County.

Some of the steroids were shipped to Neuromuscular and Rehabilitation Associates of Northern Michigan in Traverse City.
