Walkerville Man Missing Since September Killed in Motorcycle Crash

Posted: Updated:

Deputies in Oceana County say they've found the body of a man missing since Sept. 18.

They believe the Walkerville man crashed his motorcycle and died at the scene.

Ross Conkle's family reported him missing on Sept. 25, fearing something had happened.

On Saturday, someone found a body and a motorcycle in a wooded ditch at the intersection of South 204th Ave. and East Woodrow Road.

Deputies believe Conkle lost control at the intersection, went off the road and hit several trees, killing him on impact.
