Last night 3 cars were involved in a crash that shut down M-37 in Grand Traverse County.

Deputies tell 9&10 News a southbound family of 6, including 4 children, was waiting to turn left when their van was hit from behind by a 20-year-old driver from Buckley.

The impact pushed the families van into an oncoming car.

Everyone involved in the crash was taken to Munson Medical Center to be checked out.

None of the children have life threatening injuries.

Deputies closed M-37 for a short period, from Vance Road to Nimrod Road near Grouse Drive in Blair Township.
