Michigan Police Came Together for Fall Training Conference

Sheriffs from all across the state came together in Traverse City for the 2012 Michigan Sheriff's Association Fall Training Conference.

The association meets twice every year, once in the fall and again in the spring.

The main focus of the conference is training.

But the Sheriffs also come together to discuss topics that effect many communities throughout the state such as technology and jail space.

They believe conference like these are vital to the service of their counties.

The Michigan Secretary of State as well as the Lieutenant Governor also made guest appearances at the conference.
